RemedyMD releases OutcomeTrack
Predictive informatics for healthcare developer RemedyMD has launched OutcomeTrack, a web-based suite of applications that measure, analyze, and improve clinical outcomes. The Salt Lake City-based firm said the product has been developed in response to market demand for applications that can evolve along with clinical outcome and quality reporting requirements such as the Physicians Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI), and other pay-for-performance initiatives.

OutcomeTrack allows hospitals and clinics to expand the specificity of information collected in an existing electronic medical record system (EMR). According to RemedyMD, most EMRs do not readily collect detailed data that is often the basis for quality assessment and quality improvement initiatives.

OutcomeTrack is integrated with myHealthManager, the firm’s portal for electronic capture of patient reported data, facilitates patient reported data, delivers physician-created reminders and secure messages directly to patients, and enables provider access to information regarding a patient's condition, the company said.
