RSNA: Accelarad unveils web portal for medical image communication
Accelarad (Booth 3032) is introducing a collaborative web portal for hospitals, physicians and patients for its SeeMyRadiology.com image communication platform at the annual conference of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago, Nov. 28 to Dec. 3.
With a similar user interface to LinkedIn or Facebook, the web application takes advantage of a HIPAA-compliant cloud computing platform, the Atlanta-based company said.
Delivering an offering for emergency rooms and trauma cases, the new Trauma Exchange Manager provides a portal for sharing critical imaging data with referral facilities, Accelarad said. Also, the Tertiary Referral Manager includes online file upload technology for remote sites requiring communication of patients’ images from a CD or PACS. An online collaboration feature provides message exchange between participants.
