RSNA: Amirsys unveils Wizard to enhance print learning
Amirsys, a medical publisher that provides online reference and education, introduced Amirsys Wizard, a multi-media, multi-touch option enhancement that seeks to bridge print and digital media during the 97th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA).
The first Wizard will be an optional digital companion to the new Osborn’s Brain reference book by Anne G. Osborn, MD, a neuroradiologist from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. The Wizard enhances the print book with new digital content available for iPad, tablet, PC or Mac use.
“In my Wizard to Osborn’s Brain, I give readers mini-lectures, quick anatomy lessons, case-based learning, personalized instructions and comments that go beyond … the print book,” Osborn said.
