RSNA: BK Medical focuses on ultrasound mobility
BK Medical (Booth 7128), a wholly owned subsidiary of Analogic, is showing expanded capabilities for its recently introduced Flex Focus 700 ultrasound system and BK Power Pack at the 96th annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Nov. 28 to Dec. 2.

Designed for interventional radiology procedures with expansion for radiology applications, the new Flex Focus 700 provides cordless imaging and allows users to customize the settings, said the Peabody, Mass.-based company. A fully charged BK Power Pack delivers approximately four hours of continuous operation and three hours of uninterrupted scanning time, which includes scanning and freezing during each patient exam. The Flex Focus ultrasound systems can be unplugged and moved between patients or among imaging rooms without interruption to scanning or procedure time, according to BK.
