RSNA: GE launches new Centricity imaging informatics product
GE Healthcare debuted Centricity OneView Global Reading, which allows organizations to maintain current infrastructure and workflow with a work sharing environment, at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual conference in Chicago.
By eliminating the need to read from multiple sources, Centricity OneView is designed to bridge the gap between disparate RIS and PACS and to improve radiologist productivity by providing access to images and information spread across disparate systems and multiple vendor solutions within a single worklist, according to the company.
Together with Centricity OneView Single Patient Jacket, which leverages GE’s Smart Patient Matching Solution, Centricity OneView offers access to more patient records across disparate systems for reports.
