RSNA: NDSsi introduces 10MP display
A 10MP diagnostic imaging display capable of showing two 5MP images for back-to-back chest wall reads was launched by NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi) at the annual Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) meeting in Chicago last week.
The new 30-inch widescreen Dome S10 supports 10-bit and 8-bit grayscale image data through industry standard interfaces. Featuring non-reflective glass and 4096 x 2560 resolution, the Dome S10 is appropriate for mammography screening, according to the San Jose, Calif.-based company.
The RightCheck front-sensor technology provides remote testing and validation for confirmation of DICOM conformance. NDSsi said that its Dome S10 also includes mammography-specific functionality like scheduling and reminders for daily, monthly and annual quality control testing.
