RSNA: Quest showcases new storage, display offerings
Quest International (Booth 7303) will be highlighting two medical displays and two storage systems at the 2009 Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) conference in Chicago.
The Irvine, Calif.-based company will showcase its AlphaView AVC4 that combines features and requirements of a medical display and a 30-inch, 4 megapixel (MP) color LCD. Also on the floor will be the AlphaView AVC1, a 19-inch, high-definition LCD display that supports mirror image functionality, as well as an 8 millisecond (ms) response. In addition, the AVC1 accommodates multi-display configurations, has membrane controls, an anti-glare/anti-reflective panel and built-in liquid ingress protection.
Quest is also demonstrating Nexsan Disk Storage Systems and Nexsan’s Assureon archive solutions, which are scalable and provide long-term retention of medical information. The company said that Assureon meets all HIPPA compliance requirements, and can be integrated into PACS, EMR, PHR and EHR applications.
The firm will also display the Qualstar Tape Storage Library. Qualstar libraries are scalable, compatible with most operating systems and are supported by applications packages from many developers, according to Quest.
