Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego has installed the Infinix CF-i bi-plane vascular x-ray system from Toshiba America Medical Systems.

The hospital will use the new system for treatment planning and interventional cardiac procedures including balloon dilation, stents, valves and cardiac device implantations, according to Tustin, Calif.-based Toshiba America Medical Systems.

Infinix-i features a five-axis positioner and the Access Halo, which allows for head-end patient access.
