ScImage
ScImage (Booth 3455) is introducing PicomWeb, a physician portal that delivers images, reports, waveforms and documents to web browsers.

The URL-based interface delivers image pointers to the application which, upon activation, deliver the PicomWeb viewer and requested content. PicomWeb can be implemented as part of the PicomEnterprise, as a unifying layer for multiple disparate systems, or as an embedded link in your EMR system using the ScImage Universal Interface Toolkit. The result is a single point of entry for all of physicians' to access image and reporting information. PicomWeb can authenticate users by means of open architecture methods, such as Microsoft Active Directory.

Also, the company has developed BrickStorage technology and is currently in production at its offsite disaster recovery, business continuity and telemedicine datacenter, PicomOnline. BrickStorage employs data fetching algorithms utilizing a redundant array of storage systems-independent of a RAID, a network storage system or a simple hard drive.

ScImage is also introducing its PicomVoice Pro, a suite of reporting and data entry tools with an embedded voice recognition engine, that can be implemented using a variety of methods and preferences that utilize text-templates, voice-templates, structured reporting and free form reporting.
