Sectra inks with Synthes deal for orthopedic trauma market
Sectra has signed an agreement with Synthes, a West Chester, Pa.-based orthopedic implant manufacturer.
Through the agreement Sectra will add trauma templates to its orthopedic product offering in the United States.
Sectra’s said its current orthopedic services include approximately 33,000 digital templates from nearly 20 orthopedic implant manufacturers.
“This agreement with Synthes enables us to extend our product offering within orthopedics to also meet the needs of trauma centers and emergency care hospitals, an important part of the U.S. orthopedic market,” according to Brian Anderson, vice president of marketing at Sectra North America.
