Siemens Display offers new software tool, new flat-panel display
Siemens Medical Displays is releasing a new software offering and a new color flat panel display at this year's SCAR.
The new ICS (Integrated Look-up Storage) software can be used with any workstation and offers five look-up tables/storage motion displays, with easy out-of-box usage. Additionally, the software includes light condition flexibility to adjust for poor visibility in reading rooms that are not optimal for viewing; uses the PCI Express graphics controller; it is calibrated for DICOM standard operation; features a module for calibration and conformance called the SMfit ACT calibration tool which monitors performance and consistency; is network ready; and includes hands-off performance testing with remote access, email results through an internet connection, Siemens told Health Imaging and IT.
Siemens is also unveiling the High Bright Color Flat Panel Display, which is a DICOM complaint device, can support five pre-calibrated internal look-up tables, and features 450 cd/md2 luminescence.
