Siemens Display showcases new products at SIIM 2007
Siemens Display Technologies at SIIM 2007 in Providence, R.I., June 7-10, showcased new products such as its 3 MP color display which complements Siemens’ range of diagnostic LCDs for PACs. The SCD21310 is one of the few 3 MP PACS color displays with Dual Link DVI support. The 21-inch CCFL-based display allows color point adjustment for optimized display matching, and features 400cd/m_ typical brightness and 400:1 contrast ratio.

The 3MP includes Siemens’ fully automated stability, using highly accurate integrated sensors and five internal lookup tables to control luminance in accordance with DICOM standards.

Also news is Siemens cost-efficient 1 MP color display to its portfolio. The SCD 19110 offers high luminance (up to 300 cd/m_) and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The three pre-calibrated internal look-up tables (LUT) allow the user to easily select the appropriate setting.

With a wide-viewing angle, this 19-inch display is suited for PACS navigation, or HIS/RIS applications. Because of the integrated DICOM LUT, the cost-efficient SCD 19110 can also be used for viewing x-ray images.

Siemens Display Technologies also launched new services, including improved online resources such as up-to-date product information, FAQs, and downloads at www.siemens.com/medicalmonitors-support. In the USA, an ISO-certified 24-hour call center provides technical support and trouble shooting directed to the appropriate engineer to minimize downtime.
