Siemens Medical Solutions has signed an agreement to add the ImageGrid storage server archive appliance from Irvine, Calif.-based Candelis to its accessory product portfolio. Siemens said the multimodality storage drive is being offered through its global sales and distribution channels.

The ImageGrid product line has been designed specifically for imaging centers, clinics, regional hospitals and large hospital departments, and provides archiving capacities ranging from one terabyte to tens of terabytes capable of receiving images directly from any DICOM modality, according to the company.
