Siemens launches new hand held ultrasound system
Siemens Medical Solutions has launched the Acuson P10, which the company said is the world's smallest and first pocket ultrasound system.

The Acuson P10, a hand held diagnostic ultrasound system that weighs 1.6 pounds and fits into a lab coat pocket, is intended for complementary initial diagnostic care and triage, particularly in cardiology, emergency care and obstetrics, Siemens said.

The U.S. FDA has granted 510(k) clearance for the Acuson P10.
