Siemens Medical Solutions has introduced c.cam, a reclining cardiac camera system suited for both hospitals and cardiology offices. The unveiling came last week at the annual meeting of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) in Indianapolis.

The system reclines to improve patient comfort, decreasing the risk of movement and ultimately reducing the presence of motion artifacts in images. Its compact footprint fits exam rooms in large and small settings. In addition, the system incorporates e.soft, Siemens' syngo-based nuclear medicine software that meets the high-throughput demands of cardiology practices.
