SonoSite, a hand-carried ultrasound manufacturer, has introduced the M-Turbo ultrasound system for use in the full range of clinical applications at the point-of-care.

The M-Turbo system delivers images for all exam types, seamless connectivity for digital image export, the company said. The hand-carried product weighs less than 8 pounds, according to the Bothell, Wash.-based firm. 

SonoSite said it plans to begin customer deliveries later this quarter.
