SonoSite reports revenue growth in Q3
SonoSite has reported financial results for the third quarter and nine months (end-Sept. 30).
Worldwide revenue in the third quarter of 2007 increased to $50 million, a 24 percent increase compared with $40.3 million in the same quarter last year.
SonoSite also reported net income of $1.5 million, a significant upturn compared with net income of $475,000 in the year-ago quarter.
Operating expenses climbed to $35.1 million in the third quarter, a 20 percent increase from the same period in 2006. The Bothell, Wash.-based company attributes the expense growth to increased investments in product development and higher legal expenses.
