Sorna Corp. recently introduced a new CD/DVD recording system. The system’s new design includes a DISC burner, computer server, control panel and display monitor.

The eXpedo XR (2 x 24 disc capacity, one CD/DVD drive) and the somewhat larger XRP (2 x 50 disc, two CD/DVD drives) are both web-enabled for remote use and can be operated with a built-in control panel and LCD monitor. Both systems are automated and networked to record, label, and produce DICOM medical quality discs containing diagnostic procedures and other reports for referring physicians and easily viewed reports for patients on disc.

Both models are designed for smaller radiology departments, women’s imaging centers, Ob/Gyn practices, orthopedic and chiropractic clinics where space is often limited, the company said.
