Transforming a radiology department to digital image acquisition, reading, and storage does not just mean a shift in technology but also a change in the physical layout of a department. That was the consensus (70 percent) of HealthImaging.com readers that responded to last week's survey. Obviously it's not true all of the time, as 30 percent of respondents have seen no change. Perhaps some departments had plenty of room to begin with and the adjustments were only minor, if at all.
