Fifty-four percent of readers surveyed this past week are not using PDAs and other handheld devices in their jobs just yet, though leave room open for future use of the devices. Twenty-five percent of respondents are already using the handhelds. Considered together, that suggests that handhelds have a bright future in radiology and other areas of healthcare.

Twenty-one percent of readers who voted stated that they had no interest at all in handhelds.
