Survey: VA data scandal not provoking big security rethinking

It seems that most readers are comfortable with the data security practices at their facilities and don’t feel moved to reevaluate their own systems in light of the scandal that has grappled the VA over the last few weeks regarding stolen patient data. Over half (57 percent) of respondents have no immediate plans to review their security practices given the news. That’s good. Hopefully it won’t happen again anytime soon anywhere else.
