Swissray adds remote monitoring to DR systems
Swissray International Inc. announced Tuesday the deployment of the company’s remote monitoring service for digital radiographic (DR) systems. The system makes use of technology from Questra Corp., a provider of intelligent device management (IDM) systems.
The company’s new service supports monitoring, diagnostics, proactive and reactive alarms/alerts, remote desktop control, software configuration management, and analytics on a real-time basis. The Questra IDM Application Suite integrated into Swissray's DR devices are designed to assist healthcare providers in complying with patient privacy protection requirements, as well as provide quick response times, the company said.
This software is designed to work well with a facility’s existing network security infrastructure including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Swissray’s DR equipment can be configured to comply with nearly any healthcare provider's IT network.
The Questra IDM Application Suite includes enterprise platform software, server-based applications, agents loaded into in-field devices, and connectors that interface with call centers, CRM/ERP enterprise applications, and wireless devices.
