Sybermedica, Cypher IT launch automated DICOM mail service
Sybermedica and Cypher IT have entered into an agreement to link their PACSMail and bbRad image and report sharing technologies to provide a secure, flexible, automated data sharing service for clinical networks.
The Hampshire, England-based Cypher IT said the link allows users of its bbRad teleradiology server to share DICOM studies with users of the Sybermedica PACSMail network.
The joint solution combines PACSMail's DICOM messaging and viewing functions with bbRad's workflow solution to control the automated entry of images and reports directly into PACS/RIS, according to the Cambridge, England-based Sybermedica.
Cypher IT said studies can also be copied via PACSMail to other users within the hospital or to the wider healthcare community.
