Tenet to open two new hospitals in Tennessee and Texas
Tenet Healthcare Corp. is coming down the homestretch in the construction of hospital facilities in Tennessee and Texas.

The healthcare provider this week said that the 90-bed Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett in Bartlett, Tenn., is set to open this month, while the 118-bed Centennial Medical Center in Frisco, Texas, should be ready to open its doors in June.

Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett is located on a 23.6-acre site in Bartlett, currently the largest city in Tennessee without a full-service healthcare facility. The hospital represents a total initial investment of approximately $72 million, including construction and other costs.

Centennial Medical Center, located on a 40-acre campus, will initially be licensed for 118 beds, but will have future capacity of up to 190 beds. The campus also will include two 72,000-square-foot medical office buildings and an ambulatory surgery center. The hospital represents a total initial investment of approximately $125 million, including construction and other costs.
