TeraMedica adds to x-ray portfolio with Dell agreement
TeraMedica has entered into a hardware reseller agreement with Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences so that TeraMedica will package and resell its Evercore digital medical imaging solution on Dell Healthcare and Life Sciences hardware.
The Milwaukee-based TeraMedica said the Evercore software provides access to digital medical images like x-rays, MRI, PET and CT scan outputs, as well as electronic reports, voice and video files. The software will be installed on Dell products, including Dell servers and Dell/EMC storage devices, according to Paul Markham, vice president of marketing for TeraMedica.
Markham said that combining digital imaging software with Dell’s server and storage solutions can increase hospital efficiency and improve patient care, since patient information is accessible from a single screen.
