TeraMedicas content manager allows for data mining options
TeraMedica Healthcare Technology showcased at HIMSS06 last week in San Diego its new Evercore Clinical Content Manager, which will allow large healthcare systems with immense clinical medical imaging and associated large-scale data sets, to efficiently maintain the continuum of all clinical objects in a patient-centric format. Evercore Clinical Content Manager can be used as a stand-alone clinical content management solution, in departments not currently serviced by any form of clinical content manager, or in unison with Evercore Clinical Information Manager, as part of the Evercore Enterprise Suite v4.0 of software solutions. The Evercore Enterprise Suite now extends a facility's clinical content repository to include all other clinical objects including Non-DICOM, Visible Light, ECG, Video, WAV files, and reports. Data mining options enable healthcare providers to quickly create a patient's profile using a broad array of data.

The company said it is in talks with Canada, the United Kingdom and the U.S. Army. TeraMedica sells choice — something they say most vendors don’t want to hear.
