Three Palm receives FDA clearance for breast imaging workstation
Three Palm Software of Los Gatos, Calif., has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for its WorkstationOne breast imaging workstation.
The company said its WorkstationOne is intended for softcopy reading and interpretation of digital mammography images, and was developed with the goal of assisting radiologists to read digital mammograms.
WorkstationOne incorporates viewing methodology, including Tabar's systematic viewing technique for searching for abnormalities on the mammograms, Three Palm said.
