Three Philips Medical Systems multi-slice CT scanners now available
Three of Philips Medical Systems' multi-slice CT scanners - the Brilliance 6, 10 and 16 - currently are available for order.
Shipments of the three models began last month. Philips' high-end Brilliance 16 Power CT system is set to begin shipments in March. Philips also plans to have the first clinical units of its Brilliance 40 (40-slice) CT scanner start in the United States in February. Full commercial availability is anticipated for October. The Brilliance 40 received FDA clearance in November 2003.
