Three surgical centers select NovaRad PACS
NovaRad has added three surgical centers to its roster of NovaPACS users in the United States.

The company said that Orthopaedic Center in Monroe, La., NeuroSpine Institute in Eugene, Ore., and North Bay Medical Group in Santa Rosa, Calif., selected its PACS due its mouse driven viewer with set sync, MIPS/MPR, hanging protocols, measuring tools, customizable menus, saved preferences, stat reads and check out and e-sign.

NovaPACS offers fast image retrieval, full-feature viewer with seven-year, onsite archive with offsite emergency backup. Full-screen viewing, easy-to-use menus and mouse-based functions are available to give referring physicians access to images and reports from any computer. Developed on the same platform as NovaPACS, NovaRIS generates reports, measures profitability and facilitates paperless management of patient records, according to the American Fork, Utah-based NovaRad.
