TomoTherapy CFO to retire, other execs shuffled
Stephen C. Hathaway, chief financial officer (CFO) at radiation therapy developer TomoTherapy, plans to retire when his employment contract expires March 31, 2009.

The company also said that Mary Elizabeth Klein is resigning her position of vice president of global sales, effective immediately, “to pursue other opportunities.” In the interim, Shawn Guse, a member of TomoTherapy's executive team, will serve in the position during the search for Klein's successor.

Guse will continue as CEO of Compact Particle Acceleration, TomoTherapy's proton development entity, but he will step down as general counsel while serving as the vice president of global sales, TomoTherapy said. Brenda Furlow, associate general counsel, will assume the interim role of vice president and general counsel.

The Madison, Wis.-based company said that “global searches that will include internal and external candidates are being launched for both the CFO and vice president of global sales positions.”
