Toshiba agrees to three-year pact with Iowa Health System

Toshiba America Medical Solutions has signed a three-year contract with Iowa Health System to provide health imaging systems - including CT, MRI, both conventional and vascular X-ray, ultrasound and nuclear medicine modalities.

 The new Toshiba systems will be added to those already in use throughout the health system, including two Aquilion 16 and one Asteion multislice CT scanners and an Efficiency PLUS x-ray system.

 With more than 400 physicians and 3,744 licensed beds in the healthcare network, the Iowa Health System operates 11 hospitals in Iowa's seven largest communities and Rock Island, Ill., supports a system of rural hospitals in 14 Iowa communities and partners with physicians and clinics in more than 80 communities in Iowa, western Illinois and eastern Nebraska.
