Toshiba's research agreement with university hospital to augment Infinix-i series
Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. (TAMS) this week announced its relationship with Zale Lipshy University Hospital, located on the campus of The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

The long-term relationship between the hospital's staff of neuro-radiology professionals and Toshiba's product engineering team will work to deliver clinically-proven technology and 3D imaging applications, such as intra-spinal navigation and neuro-endoscopy, for the Infinix-i series vascular x-ray systems.

Today, Zale Lipshy University Hospital is one of the official research and development sites for Toshiba's vascular x-ray imaging technology and provides clinical evaluations and feedback for future technology improvements. Toshiba says the hospital has been instrumental in the development of Toshiba's 3D rotational angiography technology and the recently introduced flat-panel detectors.

Toshiba's Infinix-i series vascular systems include single-plane, bi-plane and dual-plane configurations designed with technologies that deliver fast and accurate diagnostic and interventional exams.
