Triad Isotopes grows its number of nuclear pharmacies
Triad Isotopes will build and open four new nuclear pharmacies during the third quarter of 2008, and may acquire six others before the end of the year.

Triad CEO Dom Meffe said the company is now focusing on building new facilities in Columbia, S.C.; Hattiesburg, Miss.; Augusta, Ga.; and Atlanta between July 1 and September. The total investment is about $1 million.

The business primarily operates nuclear pharmacies, which make and distribute radioactive pharmaceutical products used in diagnostic imaging procedures, mainly for cardiac and cancer patients.

The Orlando, Fla.-based company said it generated $70 million in revenue last year and has about 400 employees after 18 months in business.
