U.K. hospital selects two Agfa CRs
St Mary's Hospital, on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, has added two DXS imaging systems from Agfa HealthCare.

The products will be used in the imaging department, along with a DR system and the current Agfa DXS used in the trauma unit at the hospital, the company said.

The hospital originally purchased its first Agfa DXS in 2006 and is now seeking to standardize its equipment across the radiology department. Agfa said the DXS systems use its new Musica 2 software and delivers lower doses of radiation.

St. Mary's, which provides all NHS services on the Isle of Wight, has 477 beds and provides medical and nursing services including both general surgery and medicine.
