U.K. hospital trust extends contract with Agfa for PACS, DR systems
Agfa HealthCare has signed a seven-year contract extension with Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital National Health Services (NHS) Trust in England for PACS and DR systems.

The extension, which runs until December 2018, will upgrade the trust from Agfa’s Impax 5.3 PACS to Impax 6.5. Two DX-D 100 mobile DR units will be installed on a six-month trial to replace eight CR units. RIS data can be wirelessly uploaded to the DX-D 100 and acquired images can be sent directly to the PACS, according to Agfa.
