University of Phoenix accepts college credit for GE technical training
GE Healthcare has formed a relationship with the University of Phoenix to provide college credit for GE’s clinical systems technical training.

The company said that 43 of its technical courses are eligible for credit with successful completion. Most of the courses are recognized as electives and can be used towards undergraduate degrees from the University of Phoenix. GE said participants, who complete its training, can now gain college credit while pursuing a degree.

GE said its technical courses eligible for credit include GE product courses, such as Apex Pro telemetry, Solar and DASH patient monitors, Avance, Aespire and Aisys anesthesia systems, Case/Cardiosoft, MARS, and MUSE cardiology systems and Logiq, Vivid and Voluson ultrasound equipment, and Giraffe micro-environment systems. GE also offers healthcare IT courses, which are available for University of Phoenix credit.
