USEI showcases displays and how to track them
U.S. Electronics Inc (USEI) exhibited Totoku medical-grade, high-resolution color and grayscale displays as well as remote performance tracking software during the 2008 HIMSS conference in Orlando, Fla.

“Every year we upgrade our product line to provide the best technology and innovative products to our customers,” Manoj Tyagi, general manager sales and marketing, USEI, told Health Imaging News.

The company showcased the 3-megapixel (MP), 20.8-inch, color LCD CCL354i2 with a front sensor system, IPS LCD panel that provides luminance, contrast and viewing angles. The display has a built-in luminance uniformity compensation, which evens out the luminance across the screen, USEI said.

Also on display was the new 2MP, 21.3-inch, monochrome LCD ME253i2 for CT, MR, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and CR. This model employs a front sensor system, IPS LCD panel that provides contrast and viewing angle with built-in luminance uniformity compensation.

“All our PACS and mammo LCDs are now extremely high bright, with advance front sensor, brightness uniformity, 7/24 DICOM conformance control check and capable of doing remote calibration and remote performance check with our ‘tracking’ software, PM Medivisior,” Manoj said. PM Medivisor continually collects and analyzes the operational status of medical displays installed in hospitals for system administrators, USEI said.
