VA, DoD partner for e-benefits site
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) are working together to create My eBenefits portal, an online site where wounded service members can track their medical recovery needs. The VA and DoD are currently collecting requirements to define the site, which was recommended by President Bush’s Commission for America’s Returning Wounded Warriors.

According to VA Spokeswoman Alison Aikele, the portal will integrate existing benefits and related online information sites within the departments and will personalize and customize access to content, services and applications related to benefits the service member has earned.

“Returning service members and veterans will be able to find tailored benefit information and services in one place rather than scattered across websites and access channels,” Aikele said.
