Vemics, MedLink Healthcare form co-marketing agreement for iMedicor
Vemics, a provider of hosted, learning and productivity portals, has formed a co-marketing agreement with MedLink Healthcare Networks, a provider of radiology, diagnostic imaging, neurodiagnostic testing, functional capacity examinations, nuclear medicine and pain management.

Under the agreement, MedLink will provide iMedicor to its network of member facilities, referring physicians and other qualified individuals. In turn, MedLink will establish a connection to iMedicor to provide its members the opportunity to utilize its EHRT (electronic health records transport) technology to upload and transfer medical records, x-rays, MRI images and more.

The iMedicor portal is the health industry’s first free, HIPAA-compliant online personal health data exchange and secure messaging portal for physician collaboration, community and referrals, according to the Nanuet, N.Y.-based Vemics.

The portal’s proprietary HIPAA-compliant technology and ability to enable health providers to exchange medical record data, documentation and images are what distinguishes it from the chat-room-style portals for doctors currently in existence, MedLink said.
