Vidar Systems to showcase film digitizers at RSNA
Vidar Systems will unveil significant upgrades to its DosimetryPROAdvantage film digitizer and highlight its market-leading CAD PRO Advantage digitizer for mammography at RSNA 2007 in Chicago next week.
The Herndon, Va.-based company said its DosimetryPRO Advantage now features a red LED (light-emitting diode) version for use with International Specialty Products’ Gafchromic EBT film, which will be released in early 2008.
Other upgrades to the DosimetryPRO include USB connectivity, RoHS compliance to meet new European Union standards for lead-free electronics, and a removable LED lighting system that replaces the previous fluorescent lamp design, Vidar said.
