Vital Images flagship Vitrea remains strong in newest version
Vital Images Inc. launched its next generation of products last week at SIIM 2007 in Providence, R.I. The newest versions of Vitrea, version 4.0 and ViTALConnect, version 4.1, were on display, proving their strength in the marketplace.
Highlights of the new Vitrea software includes significant enhancements to its cardiovascular, neuro and colon applications. It provides the ability to automatically probe the coronary tree. As with previous versions of Vitrea, version 4.0 enhancements are available through their integration partners.
The web-based ViTALConnect enhancements include improved third-party support, new web-based cardiovascular analysis functionality including Vessel Probe, and increased scalability and improved performance. McKesson showed the seamless integration with ViTALConnect in their booth at SIIM.
