Viztek, the digital services company, and M*Modal have signed an agreement for the integration of M*Modal’s AnyModal CDS, its speech understanding solution, into Viztek’s web-based Opal-RAD PACS. 

The Jacksonville, Fla.-based Viztek said with its Opal-RAD PACS, radiologists dictate reports to exam files, and the Pittsburgh-based M*Modal’s AnyModal CDS captures information from dictation, transforming it into retrievable and shareable electronic files.

Viztek also said its audio files are available for review locally or by an authorized user over the internet.
