Wellstar delivers new camera prototypes
Wellstar, through its wholly owned subsidiary Trillennium Medical Imaging (TMI), has delivered two prototypes of the TMI Clinical Camera Design.

TMI had contracted for a new camera to be developed under their specific design for clinical use at the bedside for early detection of pressure ulcers. The manufacturer has delivered the first prototypes for approval.

The cameras will provide analysis of images at the bedside and incorporate a means of documentation and data storage. They will be able to integrate into health information systems that uses a barcode for patient identification, stated Holland, Ohio-based TMI., which noted that production should be completed in October.
