Another AHMA exhibitor, WinScribe, the developer of the most widely used digital dictation workflow system, was showcasing its latest upgrade with voice to document solutions such as digital dictation, transcription, speech recognition, and workflow management.
   
The system works with multiple input and output devices. In fact, the hardware really doesn't matter, says Winscribe's Skip Dostine. The upgrade version offers new routing capabilities. Because the files are encrypted, the next security step was establishing a capability to determine and ensure that only authorized personnel can send files.
   
WinScribe users can export audio files off to other systems, including traditional transcription. It offers "incredible flexibility within the levels of security," says Dostine.
