Ultrasound developer Zonare Medical Systems doubled the U.S. installations of its z.one ultrasound system within the first six months of 2006. Based on Zone Sonography technology, ZONARE began shipments of the z.one system last year had hit 100 installs by December. To date in 2006 over 300 systems have been installed worldwide.
