The College of The Bahamas in Nassau, Bahamas has signed a memorandum of understanding that established the Bahamas Health Sciences Library Consortium; a collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Public Hospitals Authority of The Bahamas and the University of the West Indies-School of Clinical Medicine and Research in the Bahamas.

The consortium includes a formal agreement with Birmingham, Ala.-based EBSCOhost Publishing that expands access to online resources for the College of The Bahamas community and medical and healthcare service providers affiliated with the consortium partners.

According to the college, Ministry of Health and Public Hospitals Authority of the Bahamas staff endorse the collaboration, which enables various departments in New Providence and on the Family Islands to electronically access medical information on patient care from evidence-based medical database Dynamed.
