TeleHealth Services has partnered with GE Healthcare Monitoring Solutions in the hospital communications market.

Through the joint venture, applications such as GE’s nurse call and communication systems, including Telligence, will be implemented in healthcare facilities, according to the companies. Telligence, a patient-staff communication system, has voice-over-IP (VOIP) and powered ethernet infrastructure, as well as software clients and system integrations, GE said.

TeleHealth plans to offer consultation, design and implementation services in engineering solutions for the facility, according to the Raleigh, N.C.-based firm.
