HIMSS: JAOtech releases new Smart Terminal devices
JAOtech (Booth #6051) is debuting a range of new patient bedside Smart Terminals at HIMSS10 in Atlanta on March 1-4. JAOtech's 2010 Zivo, Jima and Obie terminals and Wyki wireless medical keyboards will be on display.

Also featured will be the 18.5-inch Arie, JAOtech’s patient entertainment terminal, as well as the 8.4-inch Iden, suitable for interactive signage applications in waiting rooms and elsewhere, the Trumbull, Conn., company said.

Peripheral options for all terminals include a VoIP phone, Bluetooth, WLAN, a high-resolution camera and finger print reader, as well as access control and billing support based on Smart Card, magnetic card, RFID and bar-code technology, according to JAOtech.
