Medical informatics provider TeraMedica Healthcare Technology showed three additional features for its flagship Evercore-Clinical Enterprise Suite—an updated web viewer, image management architecture and dashboard module—at HIMSS10 in Atlanta last week.
The Univision-Enterprise Web Viewer services desktops, while the new offering ImageConnect allows a single context access point for PACS and other image management systems, according to the Milwaukee-based company.
The new Univision viewer allows clinicians to have diagnostic tools for radiology, cardiology, mammography, orthopedics, nuclear medicine, according to Jim Prekop, president and CEO of TeraMedica.
The software suite also now includes the Smartstore image management architecture, which offers an updated non-DICOM optimization protocol featured metadata capture and workflow processing, allowing hospital EMRs to provide acquisition of documents and non-DICOM objects.
In addition, the company has added a web-based enterprise scale management dashboard module, a remote monitoring tool that provides remote services facilities with an active view of its enterprise, across 24 specialty areas—including DICOM and non-DICOM.
