VeriChip’s personal health record (PHR), used in conjunction with its VeriMed Health Link system, will be accessible through Microsoft HealthVault, an online healthcare information platform for consumers.

Through the agreement, the Delray Beach, Fla.-based VeriChip said that its Health Link members will have the ability to open free HealthVault accounts and input, store, view and interact with their health data. Data within Health Link members’ existing accounts will now be accessible through their HealthVault accounts.
